Painting Madness

We've made it in our new home and immediately started painting over the weekend. The house has a couple crazy rooms that needed priming...and more than just one coat! The previous owners had small children and went all out on their rooms. One was a full on dinosaur jungle room and the other was an undersea adventure room. Now they've been painted boring tan and we are super happy about it. The living was a green color and it is also nice and boring now.

The dogs have not been okay with this process so far. Pele has regressed to her "Hawaii" self, which means she spends all day hiding under the bed only to be substituted by hiding behind the couch. Once all our stuff is unpacked she'll be ok.

Jersey on the other hand tried taking matters into his own hands-or paws. We left the other night to get some dinner...delicious veggie dinner...and when we came back he had chewed a paint brush in half!! And in true Jersey style, he ratted himself out immediately and began begging for forgiveness. He's a silly dog...

Tomorrow is also an exciting day! Since Mike will be gone to OTS during the Presidential election, we're going to early vote at the courthouse in the morning. Woo hoo, exercising our right to vote! We'll be posting some house photos this week so check back in later. :)
