Well, we found a great home to buy in a really nice area of town. As soon as we close on it, which will be no later than the 17th, we'll take some photos. Until then, we'll still be hanging out at the good 'ole KOA. Mike did the whole camera timer deal for the quality photo below.
The cabin life has been treating us well so far, but we are getting a bit of the "cabin fever". We bought a mini fridge and that's made life much easier, but having the dogs sleeping in the same room as us is about to take its toll. Jersey is fine, but Pele is driving us bonkers with her early morning riser schedule. If she wasn't known for chewing through her leash we'd tie her up outside at night! Funny story though, the photo of the cactus will be memorable for Jersey. His sniffer got a little too close to one the other day and we had to pull two cacti needles out of his nose. He's fine, but I wish I had a picture of it! hahaha
Mike found the nearest Chilis restaurant and had himself a molten lava cake
...okay maybe we shared. :)
Out of desperation for entertainment we made a visit to the halloween store. I don't know how Mike got me to put this gorilla head on but he did. He says it suits my attitude about the KOA!
Needless to say, we're definitely looking forward to spending time with Julie and Garrett. They come in some time this evening and will be here tomorrow as well. This will be our first time meeting their new little girl Kayla. We're super excited!!!
